At least we think it is. Kyosho has just announced that a new Skyline Series will be released in January. It will contain a who's who of Skylines, with crowd favorites all around, including the Hakosuka, Kenmeri, DR30, R32, and R34, among others.
This is an All-Star team of Skylines, clearly done to get the masses riled up. Especially since none of these are new castings. But they are new to a lot of collectors here in the US. Surely Kyosho has noticed what has happened here in the US with Hot Wheels Skylines of late. It will probably work. This set is bound to be immensely popular, not only in Japan, but all over the world.
And yeah, we have already checked with Japan Booster
, and they plan on having plenty of models in stock come January.The only thing that could derail the set? Bad execution. That has been a problem with Kyosho lately, but because these are existing castings of models that have looked good in the past, we should have nothing to worry about:
