Our friends at Japan Booster finally delivered the good news:
The highly anticipated Tomica Limited Vintage Nissan GT-R Nismo
has finally arrived, and is available for purchase at Japan Booster. It has been hard to demonstrate patience when it comes to the TLV GT-R. For us, there hasn't been a definitive 1:64 scale GT-R. Several diecast companies, including Kyosho, Hot Wheels, Majorette, and Realtoy have all tackled it, but no one has seemed to get it totally right. If there was any diecast maker that could nail the GT-R, it would be Tomica Limited Vintage.
Not that we expected them to do it. "Vintage" is right in their name, the GT-R is anything but "vintage". But for whatever reason, they decided to do it, and we could not be happier. We will give it a full review when we have it in hand later this week, but for now you can see several pics of both colors, and purchase one or both, at Japan Booster.
