Looks to be another refresh of Godzilla

It not-so-subtly let us know that a newer version of the GT-R supercar is heading to the New York Auto Show next week. From the darkened picture, it looks to be a refreshed take on the current model. That would make sense considering the last we heard of Godzilla was that it won’t be completely new until 2020.

Like we said then, we’re okay with that. It does have a different shelf life than a Sentra, and it still beats cars around the racetrack at twice the price. As for predictions, a few more horsepower might be possible. One of the project heads said last year that it could easily go higher than the current 600 in the Nismo version. Other rumors include a more-restrained GT-R that’s more Grand Touring than Race.

Either way, we’re excited, and we’ll bring you all the details from the New York auto show next week. So stay tuned
