They're Here! Tomica Limited Vintage Neo Nissan GT-R N-Attacks are now out at Japan Booster...

Friends get your paypal accounts ready once again, because Tomica Limited Vintage's meaner version of the Nissan GT-R Nismo, the N-Attack, has just hit Japan Booster and is available for purchase.

We have seen the TLV Nismo GT-R's all over Instagram and Facebook, and heard from many of you who now have one or both of the Nismos in the collection.  I may or may not be your first foray into TLV, but we have heard nothing but awe and praise when it comes to the quality and accuracy of TLV's offering.

That is obviously the case again with the N-Attack, which stands for Nürburgring Attack.  There isn't much different from an aesthetic perspective outside of the menacing wing on the back, but we are looking forward to comparing both models.

While both are stunning, we anticipate the version in red will be...uh...red hot.  It is bound to sell quickly, and based on presales in Japan, it already has.  It is sold out everywhere.  You can find both at Japan Booster, and as always at the cheapest price on eBay, and with FREE SHIPPING on any order over $50 (hint: buy both of them!)

And while we think the masses will flock to the GT-R like they did last month, we also know there is the JDM and TLV purest like us who wants to know what else is in the March batch.  Never fear, there is plenty more to get excited about:

The list:
  • The Japanese Car Era Vol.3 Toyopet Crown RSL (North American Model)
  • The Japanese Car Era Vol.4 Toyopet Crown Deluxe (Mobilgas Rally Round Australia Model)
  • N102a/b Nissan Gloria 4door Sedan 280E Brougham 1979 (Black/Gray)
  • The first from a new subseries based on the very popular TV police drama series "Taiyo Ni Hoero!" (translated Bark at the Sun)
  • Toyota Crown 4door Pillared Hard Top 2000 Super Saloon (White)
There are a lot of good models here, but highest on our list is the Mobilgas Rally Crown.  TLV is doing a new series of Japanese race cars, and this appears to be a great start.  They are all available in the TLV store at Japan Booster.

And, while we are here...

Tomica Limited Vintage has released its August and September lineups, due, naturally, in August:

LV-N108a/b Toyota Crown Custom:

Taiyo ni Hoero! 05. Toyota Crown Ban:

Nissan Skyline 1500 Deluxe (Sohgo Security Services)

Nissan Skyline 1500 Deluxe

Seibu Keisatsu 04 Nissan Cedric Patrol Car:

Seibu Keisatsu vol.18 Gloria (330 Model) Patrol Car

Seibu Keisatsu 03 Nissan Gloria Disguised Patrol Car

Nihonsha no Jidai 07. Toyota Sports 800 Tojiro Ukiya Style 1965 All Japan Car Club Championship Race Meeting

Now this lineup may not strike the GT-R club as interesting, but oh man it really is.  The racing Sports 800 is further proof that the Nihonsha no Jidai series should be a doozy, but for me personally, the Toyota Crown Wagons are a TLV wish fulfilled.

To go into full name-dropping mode, I don't live too far from the world famous JDM Legends shop here in Utah.  That affords me the frequent treat of visiting to see what goodies Eric is working on.  One of my favorite models to pass through the shop, and one of Eric's too, was the 1973 Toyota Crown Wagon:

This thing was bonkers.  It is the combination of the joy and nostalgia of the family hauler and pure Japanese styling.  I was really sad to see it go, and so was Eric.  After spending some time with the wagon, it became the first choice on my Tomica Limited Vintage "Wish List".  So you can imagine my excitement when TLV announced it this week.

I...am...stoked.  TLV is where it's at.
